Do Not Be Afraid!!!!!
Exodus 14:13-14 NKJV
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
As the year 2025 unfolds, maybe you are wondering what will happen this year? Maybe the challenges that you had last year seem to be clinging on and your hope is slowly being dimmed by the magnitude of the many giants that you are currently facing.
Our God who is so strong and so mighty today He is giving us this command; Do not Fear! Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish today! Not tomorrow, but today! What is this issue that seems too complex before the mighty King of Kings? What is this that is too hard for our God? Absolutely nothing! Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? God says stand still and do not be afraid!
The Lord is fully aware of what is around you! The Lord knows what you are going through! The Lord sees you! He certainly hears you when you cry! The Lord, our Great Shepherd is with us even in the midst of the deepest of valleys! He has promised to be with us! His rod and His staff comfort us always!
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Unfortunately the Lord is not pleading with us, but rather He is commanding us not to be afraid!!!! Be not afraid even in the midst of adversities! David in Psalms 27:3 (NIV) says
” Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.”
Do not be afraid even when you seem not to have a plan for this year yet! Be not afraid even when you have no source of income! Do not be afraid child of God!
This is the promise we have in God, The Lord who is Mighty in battle will fight for us and will hold our peace! God has not only promised to fight for us but He further assures us that the Egyptians whom we see today, we shall see them no more, forever! The giants which you now see, you will see no more! For what troubles are these that will defy the armies of the Living God?
Those troubles you have today , you will see them no more for the Lord will fight for you! Declare and believe that you will not walk in fear! This year 2025, we will not walk in fear! For He has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind! 2 Tim 1:7
Therefore stand still! Stand still and see the salvation of our God! Stand still and see God glorify Himself through your life, through your challenges! Stand still for you know whom you have believed in ! Stand still for Him who has promised, He is so faithful to hasten His Word to perform it! Tell your worries and problems that you will not try to solve them, make a resolve to remain still in the presence of the great King of Kings, the Lord great in Battle!
